Aqaba Container Terminal organized a "Family Open day" for its employees and their families, and a three days campaign in cooperation with applied university

As part of Aqaba Container Terminal activities and programs for the employees and their families, on Saturday, April 13, a “Family open day” been organized to include interactive and entertaining activities and Tally Match games, the event covered various age groups of employees kids in a friendly family atmosphere among the attendees.
The activity was organized by the Internal Communications Committee in line with its plans for 2019, which aim to enhance communication not only for employees but also to be extend to their families as well, reflecting the company's keenness to nurture, motivate and continually appreciate its human resources.
The Family open day also included some activities as part of volunteer campaign program which is implemented annually through the Community Development Committee in cooperation with the University of Balqa Applied, the activities included face painting, puppet show in addition to several competitions for the kids between 3-7 years.
Over the course of three days, with the participation of 20 students from the university, as well as a number of university’s educational staff, the activities included a number of programs in addition to the family open day such as field trips to Al Thagher and the Autism Center to diagnose some cases, as well as awareness lectures titled "The Importance of Food for Autistic Children", hosted by ACT’s staff club, and a lecture entitled "Recent trends in the diagnosis of autism," hosted by the Center for Autism for its employees.
